In this article, I will discuss my two favorite Small Patio Seating Sets for outdoor areas. Finding that perfect seating solution for your balcony, porch or small patio will take a little research. I will give you a few choices in this article for you to choose from, you will have to decide what works best for you and your outdoor space.
What are my two favorite sets for seating for two, the bistro set or a chat set? Most will come with two chairs, the big difference is that the bistro set will come with a table that you can sit drinks on or have a small meal. The chat set will not come with a big table for eating, if there is a table it will only be a side table, a smaller and shorter table that may only be big enough for your drinks.

Bistro Sets
The following bistro sets will have tow chairs of various designs and a small table. Each style of chair will need a different amount of space. The chairs with more movement will need room to use this movement, keep this in mind when choosing your set.
Azalea Ridge Resin Wicker Bistro Set

For those looking for the resin wicker look in their bistro set, The Azalea Ridge collection is one of the top sellers. With steel frames and a woven resin wicker finish will have the great looks that most are looking for.
With two chairs that will swivel on a post base and thick cushions for comfort. Each chair will be 28 inches wide, 20 inches deep and 38 inches tall.
Cushions are made with Olefin fabric covers, one of the best in outdoor furniture. The seat cushions are 3.75 inches thick and the back cushions are 3 inches thick for comfort. Two back pillows are also included, they have polyester covers.
The roundtop table with this set is rather small, more like the size of a side table. At only 24 inches across and 19.75 inches tall, it will be one of the smallest bistro tables that are available. Four legs with lower round support will have adjustable tips for uneven ground. The top will have a tempered glass top.

Chairs will have a swivel base that is mounted on spring steel between the base and seat base. This will let the chairs swivel all the way around and give a little back and forth rocking motion. Not a true rocker, just a little motion. Each chair will support 250 pounds of weight and be 23.5 inches wide, 28.75 inches deep and 35.5 inches tall.
Thick tan cushions will have polyester covers for outdoor durability. They will have Velcro straps to hold them in place. Back cushions will have a button in the middle and rounded tops.
This set will work well for those looking for movement and steel frames.
Esme Acacia Wood Bistro Set

This Acacia wood bistro set will last for a lifetime with proper care. Very similar to the teak wood ( see my information on this type of wood here) you can let it age to a driftwood color or use tongue oil once a year to keep colorfast.
The round top table will have a slotted top that will have four different directions of wood. This gives it a great looking design. Four legs will be connected on the bottom with arched wooden supports. The top will be 27.5 inches across and 29.5 inches tall.
The chairs have straight legs and slats for the seat and back. Each chair will be 25 inches wide, 27 inches deep and 34.25 inches tall.
Cushions for the seat will give additional seating comfort. Cushions are held in place with Velcro straps.
This is a great bistro set for those looking for a long term investment in their patio furniture.

Chat sets will have two chairs and a side table. The side table will be lower than the bistro table and the top will be smaller in most cases. Chairs for chat set are very similar to most bistro sets.

Manor Park Acacia Wood Chat Set

Looking for a chat set that will last a lifetime, this Acacia wood, very similar to Teak wood (look at my information on this wood style here), will last longer than most owners if taken care of properly. Just recover with a layer of tongue oil once a year and you will keep the new look to the wood. If you like the weathered look of driftwood, just leave the wood to age.

The steel powder-coated frames will be covered with a woven resin wicker material. This material will last very well in outdoor conditions.
A square side table will have resin wicker legs and frame for the tempered glass top. Four legs will have a lower leg support ring that will keep your table very stable. The table will be 20.5 inches across and 19.5 inches tall.
Chairs will have a round base that will have a steel post between the bottom of the seat base and chair base. This will allow the chair to swivel. Chairs will be 32.5 inches wide, 33.5 inches deep and 34.75 inches tall. Each chair will support 225 pounds.
